Has your printer stopped printing? This happens every time you attempt to print your boarding pass for your Caribbean cruise. Before you throw away your printer, please make sure to run these five checks.
Printing can be fixed by many things. There are simple checks that can be done, and more complex ones. Here are five ways to fix printing. You can then take your frustrations out on the device and use a hammer to repair it. Then we move on to more difficult issues.
Check 2: Make sure you're using the printer that you expect. This can be verified using Microsoft(r), Word. Like any other wireless printer, the IP address must match that of the TCP/IP port.
Sometimes, the printer can be identified by a name and not an IP address. If the name is correct, the printer should print a test page. If the test page fails to print, re-installation may be the best solution. You will need the original CDs for the printer's installation or the software downloaded from the printer manufacturer's site.
Check 5: Wireless printers can often lose connections to the internet. You can verify this by going to your printer and choosing from the menus to print a copy of the network configuration. Another alternative is to print a test page from a different computer.
The simplest and fastest way to reconnect a wireless printer to the network is to install it again.
